FOUNDER'S MANIFESTO

hello! let's talk about mental health :)

i'm Varun Gandhi, cofounder & ceo at being cares, inc.

it's been 2+ years of being and from day 1, there’s only one thing i have wanted to do — design a mental health app ‘categorically for you’ you’re unique, my friend, and so are your issues. i mean, no one in this world feels what you feel, sees what you see, and experiences life (the good, the bad, the ugly) in the ways that you do

so why should your app and especially your mental health app be any different? why should it work the same way for everyone?

it should think like you it should adapt to you it should be all about youit should be what you need help with, and what works for youit should be — just like a therapist

also very unlike a therapist at the same time — cause it’s there with you in those moments, in those days, in those phases, and in those times when probably no one else is

this is what we intend to do,

but there’s a problem. a big one!

our lives are not static. things happen. we experience all kinds of things. we find ourselves in all kinds of situations. we move along and across issues.

all. the. time.

our journey through issues is very non-linear.

and except therapy, no other form of support (especially any of the many apps) understands you like that, they just give you a library of things to do.

not necessarily what you need. and not at all when you need it. so you adapt yourself to whatever they’ve to offer. when it should actually be the other way around —

you deserve a whole different approach to mental health that starts from where you are and moves alongside you.

to be honest, it’s not different at all. cause that’s what therapy is about. and that’s what therapists have been doing for for the last 100+ years..

..but therapy is expensive, inaccessible, unscalable.. blah blah..

the key difference is about fundamentally re-imagining care that’s as personal and as effective as therapy and as accessible and affordable and scalable as any app

so after ~

💸 spending $1,300,000,

🗓️ being live for 1,000+ days,

👀 observing 500,000+ users,

🧠 brainstorming with 1,000s of users,

🧑🏻‍⚕️ learning from 100s of psychologists,

📑 & building on 1,000s of professionals' research over the last few decades

each, across personas, issues, and geographies — i have something meaningful for you

and on that note, my friend, i want to introduce you to ..

we’ve identified 27 (twenty-seven) critical issues

with the way mental healthcare works right now, and the map is potentially going to change that for good

1. you don't know what or how you feel most of the time

2. you probably know how you feel but do not know what to about it

3. there’s always a lot going on your mind but you can’t make out what

THE WAITLIST

we want to empower you with the world’s mental health knowledge at your fingertips

for you to learn and seek help anytime — about anything and everything

and to do that at less than 1/100th of the cost

yet, as much as we want to give everyone access to the map and the ability to tailor ‘being’ to your needs, your issues, your goals, and who you are we can’t do that right now

the map is a work in progress, so we can only allow a few people at a time for the most personalized ‘you’ mental health experience ever

here’s how you can

skip the waitlist & get early access

while we’ve prepared a small questionnaire for you — the most important things we’re looking for are people who: 1. truly believe that mental health is a priority for them, 2. don’t mind spending a few bucks, 3. and want to design the future of mental health with us.

*For everyone who qualifies after the questionnaire — we’ll reach out in 24-48 hours to officially confirm your spot and get you started!

**We’ll never use your details for marketing, sales, or anything else. We’ll never sell or trade your personal details. In fact, we'll delete all information once the waitlist is cleared.
